Terms of Use

A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us or from the platform you booked through. Until then, dates are not held.

Prices are quoted in euro and include VAT where it applies. Sailing cruises start at 90 euro per hour; the three hour signature experience is priced as shown on the Sailing Cruise page. Any harbour dues, fuel surcharges or extras are stated before you pay.

Parking beside the boat is a separate charge of 15 euro per 24 hours, payable on arrival.

Check in is between 14:00 and 20:00, and check out between 09:00 and 11:00. Please tell us your expected arrival time in advance so we can meet you on the pontoon.

Late arrivals can usually be arranged by agreement. If we have not heard from you and you have not arrived by 20:00, we may treat the booking as a no-show.

Cancellation and prepayment terms vary with the rate you select. Check the conditions shown against your chosen option before you confirm.

Sailing cruises booked through GetYourGuide can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before departure.

If we have to cancel, whether for weather, mechanical or safety reasons, you may move to another date or take a full refund of what you paid us.

Pipit is a working sailing yacht in a busy port. Please treat her and your neighbours accordingly: soft soled shoes or bare feet on deck, no smoking below, and quiet in the marina after 23:00.

Only the marine heads may be used for their purpose, and only with the paper provided. Blockages caused otherwise are chargeable.

Follow any instruction the skipper gives about safety, movement on deck, gas, electricity and shore power. These are not suggestions.

The skipper has final say on whether, when and where we sail, and may shorten, alter or cancel a cruise at any point on grounds of weather, sea state, traffic or the condition of the yacht or her crew.

Routes shown on this site are indicative. Swim stops depend on conditions on the day.

Sailing carries inherent risk. Guests take part at their own risk and should tell us in advance about medical conditions, reduced mobility or an inability to swim.

The yacht carries the insurance required by Greek law. That cover does not extend to your own possessions, so please arrange your own travel insurance.

You are responsible for loss or damage caused deliberately or by negligence during your stay. We will always discuss it with you before charging anything.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Greek law.

The photographs, video and text on yachtpipit.gr belong to us and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. You are welcome to share pages and link to them.

We keep the site as accurate as we can, but specifications, prices and availability can change. Nothing here forms a binding offer until we confirm your booking.

We collect only what a booking needs: names, contact details, and the crew list the port authority requires. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to anyone beyond the authorities and the platform you booked through.

You can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected].

These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Kavala have jurisdiction.

If something goes wrong, tell us while you are still aboard. Almost everything is easier to put right on the spot than afterwards.
