We are a two person operation running one boat. We collect only what a booking and the port authority require, we keep it no longer than we have to, and we never sell it.
If you booked through Booking.com, Airbnb or GetYourGuide, that platform collected your details first and handles them under its own privacy policy. This page covers what reaches us and what we do with it from that point on.
Yacht Pipit operates one Bavaria 36 cruiser from Kavala Port, Greece. We are the data controller for everything described here.
The quickest way to reach us about anything on this page is by phone or message on +30 6932 747 777, or by email at [email protected], in Greek, English or Russian.
Name, email, phone number, dates, number of guests and anything you tell us about arrival time.
Full names, dates of birth, nationality and passport or ID numbers, where the port authority requires a crew list for a cruise.
Medical conditions, reduced mobility, whether anyone cannot swim, dietary needs. Give us only what matters for your safety and comfort.
We never see or store card numbers. Payments run through the booking platform or are settled in cash aboard.
To perform the contract you made with us: to hold your dates, meet you on the pontoon, and run the stay or the cruise.
To meet legal obligations: crew lists for the port authority, and invoices for Greek tax records.
On the basis of your consent, where you have given it: health and mobility details, and any use of your photograph.
The port authority and coastguard, where a crew list or a declaration is required by law.
The platform you booked through, which already holds your reservation, and our accountant for invoicing.
Emergency services and our insurer, if there is an incident aboard.
Nobody else. We do not sell your details, we do not trade them, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.
Messages and booking correspondence: up to one season after your visit, so we recognise you if you come back.
Invoices and tax records: for as long as Greek tax law requires, currently five years.
Health and mobility notes: deleted once your trip is over.
yachtpipit.gr sets only the cookies it needs to work. We do not run advertising trackers.
Our fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so no request leaves for a third party when a page loads.
The videos on this site are embedded from YouTube in privacy enhanced mode: nothing loads and no cookie is set until you press play. Once you do, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.
Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time. The site will still work.
We sometimes photograph or film aboard for the website and our channel. If you are recognisable, we ask you first, and a no changes nothing about your day.
If you agreed at the time and have changed your mind since, tell us and we will take the image down.
Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
Tell us if anything is wrong and we will fix it.
Ask us to erase it, except records the tax authority obliges us to keep.
Where you gave consent, take it back at any time.
Write or call and we will answer within a month, usually the same week.
Your details sit in our own email and phone, both password protected, and in the booking platform's account. Paper crew lists are handed to the authority and not copied.
Only the two of us have access.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Nothing here applies retroactively to data we have already deleted.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
Ask, and we will send it over. No form to fill in.
Stay the night in the marina, or sail the coastline of Kavala.
A Bavaria 36 in the heart of Kavala’s historic port — your floating home in the marina, and a private sailing yacht for the gulf.
